SUMMARY: CANCELLED Trout Quintet
DESCRIPTION:Please note: Due to the general situation in the district of Ahrweiler, the concert must unfortunately be cancelled. Tickets already purchased will be refunded. Please contact Simone Wagner (wagner@arpmuseum.org, Tel. 02228/9425-12).

Franz Schubert was never on the Rhine. He fished for his trout in Upper Austria. Nevertheless, his Trout Quintet is an ideal model for Bernd Glemser and young string players of the Villa Musica. No other German pianist has recorded as many Romantic works as Glemser. He knows Mendelssohn particularly well, the magical freshness of touch that Clara Schumann praised so highly. Glemser allows the Rhine Romanticism to blossom again where it originated: in Rolandseck.Bernd Glemser PianoScholarship holders of the Villa Musica Rheinland-PfalzFelix Mendelssohn: Trio in D minor, op. 39, Variations sérieuses op. 54Franz Schubert: Trout Quintet in A major, D 667

 Tickets: 30 €

Please observe the currently valid regulations of the Corona Control Ordinance of Rhineland-Palatinate before and during your visit.
