SUMMARY:CANCELLED: Plaster Workshop with Kristina Köpp
DESCRIPTION:Where do we find the idea for a sculpture - an object? It slumb
ers inside us\, waiting to be awakened when we look at nature\, the forest
\, the clouds... or it is waiting to be found on the street. In exchange\,
we look for a suitable form for our own ideas. With wire\, wood\, paper\,
clay\, found objects\, plaster and plaster bandages\, we awaken the idea.
Whether built up\, plastered\, encased\, cast\, pressed or massively carv
ed out - the idea is transformed into a sculpture. We experiment with the
material plaster\, feel how liquid becomes solid\, soft becomes hard. Plas
ter is a wonderful\, simple material that gives shape to ideas and allows
us to create imaginative figures\, sculptures and landscapes. Beginners an
d newcomers are just as welcome as experienced artists.\n\nCosts:\n\n70 eu
ros per person per day | incl. materials | plus entrance fee\n\n140 euros
per person per weekend (Saturday and Sunday) | incl. materials | plus entr
 ance fee\n\nRegistration required: k_koepp@gmx.de or +49 178 6763589
