 Antonio Vivaldi certainly didn\'t just write violin concertos like his Four Seasons. Villa Musica has been demonstrating this for years in its Vivaldi in Advent series. The latest edition focuses on the cello concertos, which are among the best written by the red-haired priest from Venice. The brilliant Berlin cellist and professor Jens Peter Maintz reminds us of this with young talents in two cello concertos, a cello sonata and the double concerto in G minor.
