CLOUD VIEWS - this is the title under which writing workshops with art observation have been held at the Arp Museum for ten years. This format, initiated as an artists' workshop at the interface between words and images, was new at the time. Creative writing in the museum is about keeping an open mind, engaging with the new and unknown in order to embark on a journey of writing, exploration and invention. Surprising things come to light. Insights and outlooks that we share and exchange with each other.
We are grateful for the poetic formations and metamorphoses of the patron saint of the house in word and being. He created poetic monuments to his great love and partner Sophie Taeuber-Arp, in which she also has her say.
Ten years of Wolkenblicke: a blink of an eye in the face of art; for poetry, the desire to write, and the participants will read from their works at the opening.

 

In addition to their own publication, graphic works from the workshops will be presented. This exhibition will be on display in the Arp Lab until 5 January 2025. A visit to the Arp Lab is free of charge.
