The Society of Friends and Patrons of the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck

The Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck is a jewel in the museum landscape. In times when public funds are constantly being reduced, the museum is worthy of – and indeed needs –support through private initiatives and money. Our society's aims are the ideal, material and financial support of the museum.

Advantages for members

What we offer

Members are entitled to take part in particular in the exclusive previews with guided tours by the Director of the Museum personally or by the curators. In accordance with the musical tradition of the museum the previews are usually accompanied by appropriate musical contributions. At irregular intervals the Society also organises larger events which are designed to gain new members and increase the interest of visitors, as well as improving the Society's budget. The membership subscriptions are used to support the purchasing budget of the museum and the annual Rolandseck Music Festival. Currently the patrons' contributions for Fine Arts are being collected in order to assist with the purchase of a work by Hans Arp.

Who we are

Our Society currently includes 150 members, of whom 10 are institutional members.
The Board consists of the following people:
