At CULTRA, young people are currently creating exciting artworks in a series of workshops for a group exhibition at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck. Would you like to see your own artwork exhibited in a museum? Then join our holiday workshop!

From 13 to 16 October 2026, you can get creative at the Arp Museum, try out different artistic techniques and create your own artworks together with others. Three different workshops are available:

Textiles with Beata – Alien Creatures
What could a creature from a distant galaxy look like? Together, we will invent and create fantastic alien creatures. We will plan, construct, cut, sew, stuff, paint and glue. There are no limits to your imagination.

XXL Collage with Franca – Fantastic Worlds Between Space and Time
Using scissors and glue or working digitally on an iPad, you will create your own fantastic visual worlds. Photos and magazine cut-outs will be combined in new ways and transformed into something completely different. In the end, all the individual works will come together to form a shared, walk-through installation.

Art & Vinyl with Anibal – Printing, Painting, Creating
Old vinyl records become extraordinary works of art. Using painting, printmaking and collage, you will create new worlds on the circular records. Their shape might remind you of planets – and at the end, all the individual works will come together to form one collaborative artwork.

Free of charge.

Where?
Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck, Remagen
The museum is located directly next to Rolandseck train station and is easy to reach by train.

The holiday workshop and exhibition are part of the flood relief project “721 gestern | heute | morgen”, a collaboration between the Ahrweiler district branch of the ASB and the Studios für kulturelle Bildung (sfkb) at CULTRA.
