Cultural education is a collaborative effort! Network Workshop: Urban-Rural Culture

11:00 – 15:00  |  Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck
Special Event – free of charge - registration necessary

17 Jun 2026

Culture and cultural education thrive on connections. Yet it is not uncommon for people with similar interests and ideas to be completely unaware of one another. Collaboration could achieve so much and would make it much easier to bring project ideas to fruition. Together, we would like to meet with you in a networking workshop to launch a variety of cultural education projects in your local area and, in doing so, make use of the opportunities for mutual support through the formation of local alliances. Christina Biundo, Head of the Cultural Education Service Centre RLP, will introduce the topic with a specialist presentation entitled ‘Cultural Education is Co-production’. We will discuss the conditions for successful cooperation, try our hand at a network simulation exercise, and have the opportunity for mutual exchange. In the 2nd Network Workshop 2026, which we are pleased to host this time at the Arp Museum, we would also like to provide information on the funding criteria of the federal programme “Culture Makes You Strong. Alliances for Education” in general and about the numerous application deadlines in the autumn for the year 2027, initiate alliances, and advise you on the opportunities offered by the “Culture Makes You Strong” programme. Do also take the chance to visit the museum; the Arp Museum is a wonderful cultural venue.

Cost: Participation in the Networking Workshop is free of charge.
Registration required: Please register here by 15 June 2026.
