Curator's tour of Günther Uecker with Jutta Mattern M.A., followed by an art café

15:00 – 16:00  |  Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck
Guided Tour – Registration necessary

16 May 2026

Jutta Mattern, curator of the exhibition Günther Uecker. The Vulnerability of the World, guides visitors through the exhibition rooms, where a total of 45 works by Günther Uecker from seven decades are on display. The exhibition at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck is the first since the death of artist Günther Uecker (born 1930 in Wendorf, died 2025 in Düsseldorf) and the last in which he himself was involved. It pays tribute to the internationally renowned artist who made art history with his iconic nail pictures and reliefs and revolutionised post-war art as a formative figure in the ZERO artist group.

After the tour, you will have the opportunity to chat with Jutta Mattern over coffee and cake in our restaurant Interieur No. 253. The art café includes a cup of Italian coffee or a small pot of tea and a slice of sheet cake – with cream if you wish.

Meeting point: foyer at the cash desk

Costs: 22 € guided tour, incl. admission to the museum and art café (a cup of Italian coffee or a small pot of tea, a slice of sheet cake - optionally with cream) Other orders must be settled separately with the restaurant Interieur No. 253.
