Concert – Summer with Villa Musica at the Arp Museum
Brahms with Braunstein
Guy Braunstein plays Brahms - a classic at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck. The long-time director of the Rolandseck Festival has more ties to the museum than any other violinist. With Villa Musica scholarship holders, he plays great works by the Hanseatic composer: the early Scherzo from the Düsseldorf Sonata on F.A.E. ("Free, but lonely"), the powerful C minor Trio from Lake Wörth and the Piano Quintet, a "tragic plot in four movements", as Clara Schumann called it.
A perfect start for the Villa Musica Summer 2021 at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck.
