Special Event – free of charge - registration necessary
In his literary work for ‘Arp im Ohr’, the 2024 literature scholarship holder, the award-winning poet Christian Steinbacher from Linz an der Donau, has dedicated himself to texts by Hans Arp and works by Sophie Taeuber-Arp. Following the sound of her language and the traces of concrete art and poetry, he fragments text and image components and processes them into new compositions. In his reading, the poet and performer will also present samples of his previous poetry.
The literary scholarship is awarded annually in co-operation with the Literaturhaus Edenkoben and includes a 3-month stay in the artist's flat at the Arp Museum.
