Perfected speculation leads back to nature.

This is a quote from Novalis, one of the most important representatives of early Romanticism, whose writings form the starting point for the design of the rolandswerth secret gardens. Join art historian Daniela Narjes on a tour of the exhibition Longing for Utopia. Painting and Sculpture of Romanticism and then let her take you out into nature. The approx. 20-minute walk takes you along the romantic Rhine to the historic Hentzenpark, a Victorian garden that was revitalised by the artist couple Caroline Bittermann and Peter Duka. Discover this artistic treasure hidden near the Arp Museum on the banks of the Rhine!
