Workshop: Embroidery. The Universe with Beata Prochowska

Saturday, 24th October and Sunday, 25th October | 12:00–17:00 O'Clock

 

Using a selection of embroidery stitches, we will attempt to reinterpret images (NASA, ESA) of celestial bodies in a new way, using textile techniques – planetary surfaces, galaxies, etc., with their colours, varying intensities and depths. No prior knowledge is required; an interest in embroidery and the subject matter is an advantage.

 

Costs: 150 € per person for 2 days, incl. material, plus one-time museum entrance fee
