Workshop: Textile techniques inspired by Vanitas still lifes with Beata Prochowska

Saturday, 28th and Sunday, 29th November | 12:00–17:00 O'Clock

 

Following a brief introduction to vanitas (the history and development of this art form) based on the Talking Pictures exhibition, participants will look for a suitable motif for their own creative textile project. The project will be carried out using various textile techniques – embroidery, appliqué and sewing. Textile dyes, glue and wire may also be used. No prior experience is required, but an interest in working with textiles is an advantage.e.
