Painting techniques from Claude Monet to James Ensor and Léon Spilliaert.
We will explore the pictures in the exhibition Landscapes of the Soul. James Ensor – Claude Monet – Léon Spilliaert and use acrylic paints to develop own motifs in own style.
The Phoebus Foundation Antwerp and the Rau Collection for UNICEF have outstanding works that represent Brussels and Paris as vibrant centres of the avant-garde in the 19th century. They thus offer a comprehensive overview of different painting techniques. We look at works of Impressionism, Pointillism, Symbolism and Fauvism and draw inspiration from the different techniques. We also experiment with different brushstrokes, colour effects and their contrasts.
Costs: 40 € per person, including materials and museum admission
Registration necessary! anmeldung@arpmuseum.org or +49 2228 9425-36
