In the public reference library of the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck you can gain an in-depth view of the art of Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, who gave their names to the museum.
Thematically the library focuses on Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arpand their circle of artist friends. In addition you will find material in the library about artists whose works are shown in the exhibitions in the museum, and also those who contributed to the design of the Remagen Riverside Sculpture Park.
The library contains specialist magazines, monographs, catalogues raisonnés and exhibition catalogues relating to art of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Literature on art history, art theory and art methodology completes the stocks.

The library was designed by the Swiss artist Thomas Huber. Born in Zurich in 1955, Huber designed the furnishings and created three paintings for the library. The furniture and pictures refer to a link between art and nature such as the one evidenced in the poems of Hans Arp.
