"Vivaldi in Advent" - a magical phrase that attracts hundreds of baroque fans to the concert halls of Villa Musica every year. The successful series has already been a guest at the Arp Museum twice: in 2020 for video recordings, in 2021 live. In the new program, Concerto Köln's concertmaster, the Japanese Mayumi Hirasaki, provides the authentic baroque touch for the strings. Young virtuosos from Villa Musica perform "The Four Seasons" with her, placing Vivaldi's most famous violin concertos in a new context: in between, four wind concertos dedicated to the same seasons will be heard.
