Under the motto "GIVE YOUR WORD to the FUTURE", artist Margarete Gebauer invites you to a workshop and exchange of ideas in the Arp Lab in the historic rooms of the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck from 21 to 23 November 2023 from 2 to 5 pm.

With this offer, Margarete Gebauer is following on from the project "GIVE YOUR WORD to the FUTURE", in which she entered into dialogue with those affected and other people and collected words of encouragement and longing, documents of the time and testimonies against forgetting in the Ahr valley after the flood.

The book created for the project will be presented on Saturday, 25 November at 2 p.m. in the Arp Lab. With her new project and the workshops in the Arp Labor, the artist would like to look to the future. In the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck as well as in other public spaces, the participants will each design a banner. With such a "social work of art", she wants to overcome the perceived powerlessness in the face of wars, natural disasters or other dangers and also encourage others. Taking action together helps to overcome difficult situations better! This is what the artist Margarete Gebauer would like to call for. Participation in the workshop and the book presentation is free of charge and without registration.
