Chinese calligraphy with Hong Tang-Knoben

Like the abstract forms of Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Chinese characters are often developed from the representation of real objects and symbols. In this course you will be introduced to the basics of Chinese calligraphy by the Chinese artist Hong Tang-Knoben, who teaches Chinese calligraphy and calligraphy at the University of Bonn. At the end of the course you will be able to write your first basic characters and practice further - no previous knowledge is required.
