11:00 – 14:00 | geheime gärten rolandswerth
Special Event – Registration necessary
The secret gardens rolandswerth are part of The Riverside Sculpture Park and are located at a place on the Rhine where nature and art enter into a special dialog through the works of Caroline Bittermann & Peter Duka - a high tower planted with plants and inhabited by animals, a white entrance gate that together with a letter sculpture forms a word puzzle, park benches, a former greenhouse... The secret gardens of rolandswerth are therefore an interesting opportunity to creatively question the Ahr Gardens and our own ideas of Ahr Gardens - what should they look like after the flood? - to question them creatively. Gardeners, authors and musicians from the Ahr Valley meet here. There will be swapping, reading, music and tasting.
You can expect: guided tour, readings, plant exchange, wild herb snacks, concert by the group Mayenspil and more
Mayenspil group: Anna May (Ahrbrück) - recorder; Matthias May (Antweiler) - violin, straw violin, mandolin; Lukas May (Rupperath) - harp
Participants: max. 30 persons
Costs: free of charge (donations welcome)
