The Family Reading Festival at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck

Open Day - Admission and readings free of charge!

 

For the Rhine reading festival Käpt'n Book, the museum will be transformed into a stage for exciting stories by well-known authors of books for children and young people. Of course we invite all young and old literature enthusiasts to discover our current exhibitions.

 

Please note that all readings will be in German.

 

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open family workshop in the Arp Labor "Bookmarks with Dandelions, Daisies and Co" on the occasion of the exhibition "Christiane Löhr"

 

11:15 a.m. Live audio play: Martin Bross "The Jungle Book" (for children aged 6 and older)

 

1:45 p.m. Reading: Inge Brendler "Klangstreich - Eine Note tanzt aus der Reihe" (for children 6 years and older)

 

3:15 p.m. Reading: Eva Rottmann "Die Prinzessin, die auszog, den Prinzen zu retten" (for children 6 years and older)

 

4:30 p.m. Kai Pannen draws and reads from "Ins Netz gegangen" (for children 7 years and older)

 

In addition to the readings, we offer movement games supported by the Sportbund Rheinland e. V. on the forecourt of the museum.Drinks and snacks as well as coffee and cake will be available for purchase on site.
