12:00 – 17:00 | Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck
Workshop – 2-day - Registration necessary
»There is a beginning in every ending!« Hermann Hesse
This two-day workshop aims to deconstruct, dismantle and create something new from the existing.
Changing clothes, alienating them... cutting them up and putting them together again....
With various techniques we will try to breathe new life into old pieces of clothing. Old men's shirts, jumpers and other textiles will be turned into wearable pieces or objects. No previous experience/knowledge of tailoring is necessary. Curiosity, a feeling for shapes and an interest in individual clothing are enough. The aim is to create exclusive items of clothing that will give you the courage and desire to continue on this path of individuality. A statement! Then we will be able to quote Hermann Hesse: There is magic in every beginning!
Participants: The maximum number of participants is based on the current Corona Control Ordinance of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Costs: 150 euros per person | incl. material | plus one-time museum entrance fee
