Young string players of the Villa Musica

Raised in Bulgaria, trained in Paris, professor in Geneva and at home on concert stages all over the world: Svetlin Roussev is one of the most charismatic violinists of our time. Together with the brilliant Korean pianist Yeol Eum Song, he plays Fauré's first violin sonata in a kaleidoscope of late Romanticism between Vienna, Paris and Prague. Three masterpieces, composed between 1877 and 1889, which are as moving today as they were when they were first performed.

Johannes Brahms: Piano Trio in C minor, op. 101
Gabriel Fauré: Violin Sonata No. 1 in A major, op. 13
Antonín Dvořák: Piano Quintet in A major, op. 81
