Soapstone Workshop with Ulla Hieronymi-Pinnock

11:00 – 16:00  |  Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck
Workshop – POSTPONED TO NOVEMBER 14, 2021

06 Nov 2021

THIS WORKSHOP WILL TAKE PLACE ON 14. NOVEMBER 2021!

Attention: Please ask Mrs Hieronymi-Pinnock whether participation in English is possible.

In addition to own ideas, suggestions for the design are provided by the natural shape of the stone and the current exhibition »Rodin / Arp«.

Soapstone is a soft stone that can be sawn and worked well with rasps. The soapstone material enables the sculpture to develop slowly and gradually. Its inner workings - the grains - are brought to life by grinding. Often the stone itself leads to the shape that is in it. Previous knowledge is not required.

Participants: The maximum number of participants is based on the current Corona Control Ordinance of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Costs: 65 euros per person and day | incl. material | plus museum entrance fee

Registration necessary: Ulla Hieronymi-Pinnock or +49 178 2097279
