Midori Seiler is a professor at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany, where she teaches the baroque violin. In "Vivaldi in Advent" she performs with young virtuosos of the Villa Musica on "modern" instruments, but in the spirit of the Baroque. Eight concerti by Antonio Vivaldi for flute, oboe, bassoon, strings and harpsichord provide a festive mood for Christmas at the old Rolandseck train station on the banks of the Rhine.
