We celebrate our 15th anniversary with an open day -- together with the exhibition opening »Animal action! Animals and their people« as well as with an extensive program for all interested visitors.

The last 15 years were characterized by diverse exhibitions, top-class concerts, creative activities and unforgettable moments. Celebrate this special day together with us!

 

11 a.m. | Opening of the exhibition »Animal action! Animals and their people« in the lobby of the new building

 

11 a.m.- 4 p.m. | Family workshop The animal gets moving with Birgit Ramsauer on the terrace of the arp lab

 

11 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Touch boxes and information about the Zoo Neuwied at the forecourt of the museum

 

11 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Arp Module Art to touch by students of the Landesschule für Blinde und Sehbehinderte Neuwied at the arp lab

1 p.m. | Presentation of students' work on the exhibition »Animal action! Animals and their people« at the arp lab

1:30 p.m. | 45-minute guided tour on the history of the museum (Meeting point in the station's lobby)

2 p.m. | 45-minute guided tour on the architecture of the museum (Meeting point on the ground floor of the new building)

2 p.m. | Family guided tour of the exhibition »Animal action! Animals and their people« with Jean Rat (Meeting point in front of the Kunstkammer Rau)

3 p.m. | 45-minute guided tour of the exhibition »Animal action! Animals and their people« (Meeting point in front of the Kunstkammer Rau)

4:30 p.m. | Public guided tour with discussion of Arp and Taeuber-Arp with Director Dr. Julia Wallner (Meeting point top floor new building)

4 p.m. | Theater Monteure | punkt punkt komma strich | Theater. Image. World. | Theatre play for children from 3-8 years at the arp lab

 

7:30 p.m.| Performance Transformations? with the artist group emotiva art in the lobby of the new building

 

We would like to point out that photographs and films will be taken during the opening and the following events.

 

Registration for the guided tours, the theatre play and the performance possible until 15 September 2022.
